A NEW PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR POTENZA PICENA
A giraffe overlooks from this wooden seaside school
The “R.L. MONTALCINI” is a large new primary school on 2 levels, just a few steps from the Adriatic Sea. The facility has a courtyard layout, it is characterised by a rigorous arrangement on the outside and it is covered with zinc-titanium staves to contrast the action of salt spray. The large central courtyard, on the other hand, has more playful features and plays with transparencies; the giraffe sculpture provides creative and iconic discontinuity.
Equipped with versatile solutions, the school is designed to address environmental challenges or emergency situations efficiently. This cutting-edge approach ensures a safe and adaptable learning environment, allowing students to address each educational challenge in an optimal manner.
