NEW PRIMARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL, BRUGNERA

An urban connection story

The project involves the construction of a new school hub for Brugnera comprising the N.Sauro elementary school and the A.Canova secondary school. Currently only the new N.Sauro elementary school has been completed.
Our intervention opens the school area to the community through design proposals capable of creating functional and environmental connections between the school buildings and between them and the built-up area. The arrangement of volumes we designed ensures maximum permeability with the context, while maintaining more collected areas to encourage concentration and educational activities.
The elementary school is a whale: for us, creating iconic buildings means stimulating its recognizability and sense of belonging by the citizenship!
